This song, like most of the HTEP, is in Eb tuning. The thing that gives this away is the clean part during the verses, the 10th fret note on the low Eb string would have to be played at the 12th fret, or the 5th fret on the Ab string, if the song was drop-tuned, which would be really awkward either way. Guitar 1 is probably the most over-effected guitar track ever used in an LP song, it sounds almost like something out of a Pink Floyd song, really trippy. As with Step Up, the "wah" on this part doesn't really sound like a foot-controlled wah as every note has the same wah "shape" to it. It's either an auto-wah effect or something added at the board. Guitars 2 and 3 are literally just 2 chords the entire time, they double each other for all the heavy parts. Guitar 4 does some cool call-and-response stuff with the other 2 distorted guitars in the choruses, it's really trebly, and it plays all octaves. This song's pretty simple, the most glaring errors in previous tabs were for the clean guitar during the verses, and the ending of the song where Guitar 4's part changes up. I actually tabbed the ending out as a "Guitar 5." It's the same guitar track as Guitar 4, but at the end of the song it has a delay added to it with a long repeat time, which is why the ending of the song sounds so chaotic. The only other thing to note is that Guitars 2 and 3 are played with a little bit of a palm mute at all times, not enough to kill the sustain but just enough to give the notes a little extra crunch. Also, the sample at the very beginning of the song after the strings is not guitar as a lot of tabs have it.
